The Beatles Play The Residents and The Residents Play the Beatles (1977) This is the common title of a single which has two tracks: Beyond the Valley of a Day in the Life and Flying. The first track -- aka "The Beatles Play The Residents" -- is a tape collage of excerpts from songs by The Beatles. The flip side of the single, "The Residents Play The Beatles", is a cover of Flying, which was chosen for the treatment because it was the only song the band could find which credits all four Beatles as composers.
